Precor Ellipticals: The EFX546 leads The Pack

Precor Elliptical

Precor ellipticals were the first to enter the market in the mid 1990’s. Precor developed the machine to simulate the natural, oval shaped movement of walking. The ingenious design not only provided a fun aerobic workout, but lessened impact on joints as well.

Since their development of the elliptical trainer, Precor has continually updated and improved their offerings. In particular, the Precor EFX546 has garnered praise from users throughout the country for its ease of use, 8 fitness programs with 20 resistance levels, interesting electronic display and proprietary CrossRamp technology.

Adjusting the height of the machine allows different muscle groups to be worked, with glutes, calves and hamstrings all getting a good workout. Resistance level adjustments make a challenging workout a reality, without the stress on your knees and ankles.

This model does not have the moving handlebars that some machines include for an upper body workout, but with the many levels and programs available, you won’t be bored with the action on this upscale unit.

Included in this model are several very nice bells and whistles. The heart monitor feature not only displays your heart rate, but can chart your rate in relation to your target zone. The machine has a water bottle holder, and a very attractive, easy to use electronic console.

Precor ellipticals have been industry leaders since Precor invented the technology in the 90’s. The EFX546 model is an outstanding gym quality machine with many popular, easy to use features.
