Remanufactured Treadmills Are Put Through Intense Rebuilding to Perfects The Look, Feel And Functions

Remanufactured Treadmills – Like New But You Save 50% Off Retail Prices

Remanufactured treadmills go through a restoration process similar to what a car goes through when it’s being restored. The remanufactured treadmills are put through an intense rebuilding that perfects the look, feel and all the functions of the treadmill.

  The restoration process includes:

- Disassembling the equipment
- Sandblasting the frame to strip off any imperfections
- Powder coat the frame and Bake it
- Rebuild the mechanical and electronics system with all brand new parts that perform to the original specifications.

Then the treadmill is reassembled, exterior is refinished and you have what is essentially a new treadmill. A diagnostic evaluation is done to insure the performance and quality of all the parts.

I highly recommend Megafitness.com who has a huge distribution center in Los Angeles CA. They have a 50,000 square foot plant and have approximately 2000 pieces of equipment being restored at any given time.

There treadmill remanufacturing facility is the most advanced workshop in the industry. Here they rebuild:

- motors, rollers, and incline elevation systems
- frames and handrails
- replace electronic and mechanical parts
- reassemble
- do a 45 point diagnostic test

The treadmill will go through 24 hours of diagnostic testing including control display panel and programs – preset and random. The tests are conducted by three separate technicians prior to the machine being approved for packaging and shipping.

They also use the powder-coating method of refinishing instead of spray painting to avoid deterioration of the equipment in a short amount of time. They are the only company who has incorporated this into the remanufacturing of treadmills.
